Overseas Filipino Workers are true modern day heroes.They sacrifice just to give a better and more comfortable life for their families. Some of them are even working two to three jobs overseas just to provide food on the table or send their children to school.
Another Kababayan is in need of our help. The OFW in Kuwait, Edinel Coronacion Salvacion, is crying for help after her employer hurt her again. A video was posted by a netizen named Gen N Ladra, asking help on behalf of Salvacion.
Physical Abuse
In the said video, Salvacion was crying for help. According to her, her employer kept on abusing her physically, but this time, she took all her power and fought back.
In the video, we can see Salvacion showing the wound that the employer caused. Blood can be seen dripping from her head, too.
Salvacion also revealed that her employer always hurt her physically, even if she makes a simple mistake. Although her contract states that her employer is only one, she said that her work is extended until the next house.
No Salary?
The Overseas Filipino Worker also stated that she is not getting any single peso from her employer. Salvacion said that nothing is free in the house and she needs to provide everything for herself.
Salvacion also revealed that she doesn’t have any place to sleep and she often sleep really late.
